Born in the small town of Ogden, IL, Kolten found his passion for music in his late teens. He started writing country with friends and performing as a solo act around Champaign/Urbana and has opened for Alex Williams. After filling out the band in early 2022, including Nashville guitarist Zach Dable, Kolten Taylor & the Truck Toppers began performing full shows. Kolten released his debut EP "Ain't No Cowboy" later that year, followed by a single "Raining Whiskey." Kolten continues to perform around Illinois and Indiana.
