Kinky Friedman, musician, author and former Texas governor candidate and B.J. Thomas, known for his Oscar-winning hit “Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head,” Saturday, November 26 preforming a benefit concert for Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch.
Kinky will be hosting the concert which benefits the 501(c)(3) non-profit “never kill” shelter that cares for abandoned and/or abused dogs and places them with nurturing families. The ranch has rescued over 2,000 dogs in the 10 years its been open and depends strictly on donations to support its operations. The Ranch was founded in 1998 by Kinky, Nancy Parker-Simons and Tony Simons and is located between Kerrville and Medina, TX.
