Built in the 1930’s when it was a stage for Kidd-Key Women’s College. The City of Sherman purchased the property and designated it as a municipal auditorium after the college closed in 1935. The auditorium seats more than 1,300 people and is home to the cultural and performing arts in Sherman. The Sherman Symphony Orchestra, the Denison Ballet and the Community Series hold performances in the great auditorium.
Kidd-Key Auditorium is located at 400 Elm Street, Sherman, Texas, 75090. The entrance is located on the east side of the Sherman Municipal Building. Parking is available in the north parking lot or along the streets surrounding the Municipal Grounds. Wheel chair accessibility is available at the south entrance of the building.
