B.J. Jamison is a Nebraska native raised on a ranch near Ashby, Nebraska
Growing up on a ranch and born into a rodeo family, B.J. discovered at a young age that he didn’t love participating in the sport of rodeo as much as the rest of his family, but he did have interest in learning to play the guitar, so at the age of 13, he taught himself how to play, and after a few months, he landed his first job with a country band playing lead guitar! As time went on the band encouraged him to sing and that’s when he discovered just how much he really enjoyed performing live music.
B.J. sings a wide variety of music from classic country (Ernest Tubbs, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, etc) to 80’s and 90’s country, (Mark Chestnut, George Strait, Chris Ledoux, Garth Brooks, etc) as well as red dirt country (Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Ian Munsick, etc)!!
B.J. has been playing solo acoustic shows now for the last 2 years and has been traveling and gaining recognition all over the Midwest. He has had the opportunity to play many fairs, festivals, street dances, bars, and restaurants as well as opened for an Ian Munsick concert!
