Jennifer B & the Groove are a 4-piece, high-energy Austin band who play a wide variety of music, including Blues, Roots-Rock and Americana music. With a fresh unique approach to some great classic covers, the band also incorporates new, original music written by Jennifer, featuring her powerful, soulful, gut-wrenching voice and heart tugging lyrics. ? The band released a 5-song EP ‘Downtown’ in November 2018 of original Americana music that features some of Austin’s talented musicians such as Texas guitar Legend, Van Wilks (Back To Him gestured Van’s Most Beautiful slide playing), along with Jackie Venson, Chris Maresh, and Patrick Lyons. The band is currently working on a full album of more of Jennifer’s Original songs with a tentative date of completion set for April 2020. Jennifer B & the Groove also have a tribute band, honoring the Great Janis Joplin. They have received great revues and requests for shows all over the united states.
