"Stay the course." This is a term that Cody Abbott has heard for many years from his father. It's also a major guideline that Cody has lived by for most of his adult life.
Cody hails from the ever growing town of Newcastle, Oklahoma,with his ever supporting wife Melinda and their two daughters. He has worked extremely hard over the passed years with his music. He has began drawing fans since the first time he ever stepped on a stage back in 2005 at The Country Club in Oklahoma City. He has played countless shows on many different stages throughout his career, and never ceases to amaze the crowd that shows up at every show. He independently released his debut album, "Cody Abbott" in May 2011, and it has been in great circulation since its release. Taking 7 years to release ones first album may seem crazy, but when you work hard for the things you want it will eventually pay off. Seems Cody has truly stayed the course and never let adversity bring him down.
