As a youngster, influenced by family and friends, Dustin signed up for an open mic performance at just 14 years of age. His mother, brought him to the gig. It seems that, with the exception of writing, Dustin hasn't put down his guitar since. Broadly categorized as TX/Red Dirt, the Dustin Perkins Band trully is a breathe of fresh air in the cluttered arena of this genre. With originals that harken the spirits of bands long gone to a list of covers that will make even the most casual of listeners pause and say "Are they really playing THAT?" The Dustin Perkins Band will provide a show that will sell product for your venue and will increase the fan base and draw after each show.
