    TY MYERS
You can practically hear the grit in the music of Ty Myers. The 17-year-old Austin, TX singer, songwriter, and guitarist takes a no-nonsense work ethic forged on his family’s cattle ranch and applies it to practicing, performing, and writing. As such, he has notched hundreds of gigs under his belt (before even graduating high school), developed impressive guitar chops, and cultivated a signature style anchored by old school country storytelling, bluesy riffing, and stunning soul vocals. Among his earliest memories, he vividly recalled watching grandma behind the piano in church and dad performing weekend gigs in local venues. Getting accustomed to acoustic guitar, he dug into electric at 12-years-old. He didn’t just recognize his calling; he pursued it restlessly. In order to focus on music, he chose to be homeschooled. During 2023, his grind paid off in a big way. He uploaded “Tie That Binds” online, and the TikTok account Bonfire Specials organically plugged it. The song surged on social media, and labels flooded his inbox. The breakout tune eventually gathered 6 million Spotify streams followed by “Drinkin’ Alone,” “But Me,” and more. In the meantime, he joined forces with Narvel Blackstock and Starstruck Entertainment and inked a deal with RECORDS Nashville/Columbia Records. Emerging as a powerhouse performer in his own right, he notably shared the stage with everyone from Willie Nelson to Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, Cody Johnson, and Josh Meloy. Piling up tens of millions of streams and attracting a devout audience, this sound continues to distinguish him on a series of singles and his forthcoming debut for RECORDS Nashville/Columbia Records.
