Murphey Western Institute Presents... Rangeland Fire Relief Benefit Concert featuring Lyle Lovett and Michael Martin Murphey

In March 2024 over 1 million acres of land in the Panhandle of Oklahoma and Texas burned through multiple wildfires.  So far over 7,000 cattle perished, ranches have been destroyed, and the livelihood of the whole region has been compromised and damaged significantly.  This benefit will be targeting those in need through local organizations in the Panhandle region.  Our hope is to help multiple families recover from complete loss.  
 
  • $10,000 - VIP Table of 10 - Includes VIP Meet & Greet, Cocktail Hour (4:00-5:00), Dinner, Concert
  • $2,500-$5,000 - Table of 8 - Includes Dinner and Concert
  • $325 - Single Ticket for Dinner and Concert - A seat at a table will be assigned to you at the event
  • $75 - Single Seat for Concert Only - Does NOT include Dinner - access at 6 PM
Murphey Western Institute is a non profit 501 (c)(3) organization.  All purchses are tax deductible.  Only a credit card fee is being processed, all donations will pass through to MWI and be distributed.  Funds from this benefit will be given directly to individuals, families, and businesses that have suffered significant injuries and loss from the regional fires.

MICHAEL MARTIN MURPHEY
A devoted environmentalist and ranching advocated, the multi-Grammy nominee, Murphey is perhaps best known for a slew of hits that have for the past 50 years topped Pop, Country, Western and Bluegrass Music charts. Among his best known hits include “Wildfire,” “Carolina In The Pines,” “What’s Forever For,” “Cowboy Logic,” “Long Line of Love,” “I’m Gonna Miss You Girl,” among others.

His songs have been covered by other beloved artists including Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Lovett, Roger Miller, Cher, Hoyt Axton and many more. Murphey is a native Texan who is now in the Western Music Hall of Fame and has also been recognized and awarded by notable organizations such as the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Academy of Country Music, The Grammy Awards, the Country Music Association, and the Texas Music Awards.
