WEST OF THE MARK - PRIME PROJECT
90'S country music The recognized and multi-award winning country band West of the Mark expanded into a side endeavor during the COIVD-19 pandemic in 2020. They added (3) additional members to their core band. Their focus: a tribute to the 90’s era of country music that they call West of the Mark: the PRIME Project. This ensemble features the core four and have added a female vocalist, a female fiddle player and a honky-tonk piano. This project is a special performance group based in Buffalo, NY. While installing the biggest hits of the decade, they’ve included some of the most notable but perhaps forgotten songs as well. They focus on three- and four-part harmonies throughout the entire setlist to maintain the authentic vocal blends produced during this era. The PRIME project has a handle on a concert style presentation, not just the club bangers plugging away song after song. They create a certain kind of energy, a vibe in the room, call it nostalgia perhaps, but you can feel it when the band performs. Powerhouse female songs from Shania, Reba, Martina, Yearwood and others along with Garth, McGraw, Toby Keith, Diffie, Chesnutt and more make for a journey through time. This band has grown in just two short years to include the following highlights and a controlled purposeful schedule. Some of those highlights are: • Gateway Harbor, N. Tonawanda, NY 2021 • Kettle Creek Music Festival (opening act of 3-day festival), Cross Creek, PA 2022 • Neal McCoy direct support 2022 • Kettle Creek Music Festival headline Act, Cross Creek PA
