The Stateline Band
THE STATELINE BAND
"Best New Band of the Year,” The Stateline Band merges honky-tonk with a rock'n'roll edge to create their self-proclaimed genre, Texas Dancehall Country. Originally formed by drummer Patrick Quain in 2003, lead singer Jody Dominguez would join the band in 2016 and the group would meet its current producer and fiddle player/vocalist Haydn Vitera (Asleep At The Wheel) in 2017 while opening for 90's Country icon Rick Trevino in San Angelo, TX.  Rounding out the current lineup are bassist Scott Zajicek (Trent Willmon), guitarist Steve Anderson (Rick Trevino/Gene Watson) and steel guitarist Stan Scantling.

2020 saw the band with their first top ten single “Full-Time Fool” peaking at #4. In 2021, they won ‘New Group/Duo of the Year’ at the T3R Texas Regional Radio Report Awards. The Stateline Band performs consistently across Texas and has opened for country music household names including Mark Chesnutt, Josh Turner, Pat Green and Aaron Watson. They have three singles under their belt, with their fourth single, “Dancehall Devil” (feat. Benny McArthur & Haydn Vitera) currently climbing the Texas charts.

With a passion for keeping old school country alive, the band employs traditional country instrumentation including fiddle and steel guitar, creating an undeniable urge to hit the hardwood and two-step all night.
