Nik Parr & The Selfless Lovers are a high octane, piano driven rock n' roll band from Austin Texas. Think Jerry Lee Lewis meets Bruce Springsteen. Nik leads the band on vocals, sax and piano, even playing both instruments at the same time on stage. The band tours very actively with over 150 shows per year around the country. They've shared the stage with many legends in roots music: Marc Broussard, Rebirth Brass Band, Black Joe Lewis, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Big Sam's Funky Nation, The Heavy Heavy

Love and War in Texas

Certainly an epic name for what has become an epic restaurant. Love & War in Texas is a restaurant developed by two Texans who believe the philosophy described by Mr. Steinbeck.

The concept was created to promote Texas, Texans, Texas food and Texas Heritage. You will not find any "smoked salmon" or "Alaskan snow crab" on our menu. Only fresh Texas Gulf seafood, Texas produce and Texas grown meats... all cooked into authentic Texas recipes. To compliment the cuisine, L&W has an extensive "all-Texas" wine list and an equally impressive collection of Texas Beers.

Live Texas music has become a tradition at L&W. Texas singers and songwriters from around the state are finding their way to what is quickly becoming a central gathering place for Texas music and Musicians.
