Mark David Manders has been a mainstay in Texas music for over twenty years. His music reflects his life: an intriguing dichotomy of the introspective soul searcher and the beer swilling, drunken poet. His shows are high energy and unapologetic. His songs reek of alcohol with an occasional hint of guilt. Yet there is a tapestry to his lyrics that reflects influences such as Guy Clark and Kris Kristofferson.

Love and War in Texas
Certainly an epic name for what has become an epic restaurant. Love & War in Texas is a restaurant developed by two Texans who believe the philosophy described by Mr. Steinbeck.
The concept was created to promote Texas, Texans, Texas food and Texas Heritage. You will not find any "smoked salmon" or "Alaskan snow crab" on our menu. Only fresh Texas Gulf seafood, Texas produce and Texas grown meats... all cooked into authentic Texas recipes. To compliment the cuisine, L&W has an extensive "all-Texas" wine list and an equally impressive collection of Texas Beers.
Live Texas music has become a tradition at L&W. Texas singers and songwriters from around the state are finding their way to what is quickly becoming a central gathering place for Texas music and Musicians.
