BRYCE BANGS
Bangs started his music career in 2012 knowing he had what it takes to go to the top. His cigarette laden voice, mean guitar riffs, and “one hour to live” performances are the triple threat needed to soar with the stars. Like anyone who wants to make music their life’s work, they know it takes time, long nights, sacrifices, and no promises of the big time. Bangs has had plenty of chances to quit, but he doesn’t seem to have that word in his vocabulary, and he knows that his songs and his voice should be heard.

The genre bending Bangs doesn’t like being pigeon holed, and his catalogue will tell you the same.

Starting with his first EP in 2015 titled, “She’s Gone,” produced by Paul Cauthen, he got buzz around the Dallas scene for the self titled track “She’s Gone”, a psychedelic sad story anthem, and fan favorite, “Cocaine Road,” a driving, Texas Country esque joyride.

With a killer band in tow, Bangs’ and his crew went down to Dripping Springs to record Bangs’ first full length album at AudioStyles Studio. Released in July 2018, Bangs’ self-titled album, produced by Sam Culp, had singles, “Chasing That Gold,” “Belmont Tiff,” and “Taking a Ride.” It was a celebrated release that included a sold out Granada Theater release show, and nomination by the Dallas Observer for Best Rock Band.

Bangs has been hitting the road at a rapid pace trying to grow his audience. He says, “As soon as they watch the show, they will be a fan, I promise you that.” The passion put in every performance leaves Bangs’ exhausted, and soaked in sweat. With a stop-in-your-tracks voice, and blues tinged backing band, he is poised for a breakthrough.
