Hayden Baker

Texas native, Hayden Baker, has gone from posting cover songs and “how-to” guitar tutorials on YouTube to opening for some of country music’s biggest stars in the span of just a few short years. In May of 2016, he caught the attention of Brad Paisley, who complimented Hayden’s performance of his song, “Without a Fight,” on Twitter. Then again in 2018 Brad posted a video of Hayden on his own Instagram praising him for his performance of Brad's song "Bucked Off." Love and War in Texas

Certainly an epic name for what has become an epic restaurant. Love & War in Texas is a restaurant developed by two Texans who believe the philosophy described by Mr. Steinbeck.

The concept was created to promote Texas, Texans, Texas food and Texas Heritage. You will not find any "smoked salmon" or "Alaskan snow crab" on our menu. Only fresh Texas Gulf seafood, Texas produce and Texas grown meats... all cooked into authentic Texas recipes. To compliment the cuisine, L&W has an extensive "all-Texas" wine list and an equally impressive collection of Texas Beers.

Live Texas music has become a tradition at L&W. Texas singers and songwriters from around the state are finding their way to what is quickly becoming a central gathering place for Texas music and Musicians.
