Learning names is a Dallas based indie rock band that formed when lead singer and guitarist Dook Dootson uprooted from Manchester, England, to try his hand at forming a band stateside. He would play with numerous lineups before landing on the permanent arrangement giving the band its namesake. The band’s unique sound is driven by Dootson’s crisp vocals. With percussive acoustic guitar, dynamic rhythm section and blasting horns.
