TOM SLESS
After leaving behind a corporate life in Los Angeles, Tom Sless set out on a journey across 25 states, bringing his everyman songwriting to the people. Along the way, he embraced the lessons of self-belief, kindness, and stewardship. His rock and roll album Heartland Ballerina paints vivid portraits of overlooked, underestimated Americans, blending joy and pain with every note. The album stands as both a tribute and a challenge to reconnect with the heart of America.

With a voice that comes in shades of Cash, Springsteen, and Stapleton, Tom Sless treads the lines between 60s outlaw, 70s Heartland, and modern Americana. Having performed more than 150 shows in just under two years in Fort Worth and throughout the country, Sless has taken an old school, in-person approach to marketing his music: winning one fan at a time.

Yet it’s not followers, views, or streams that motivate him. Sless is on a mission to uncover that unifying force of human nature residing in the heart of every human being; the singular light that might just reconnect a fractured country. Sless isn’t hiding this mission away. Rather, he is embedding it right into the lyrics and atmosphere of his forthcoming sophomore effort, produced by Tim Lightyear (Shane Smith & the Saints; Lowdown Drifters).
