Coby Carter, was born in Lubbock, TX and has recently completed an Ag Business Degree at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM.
In 2013 he won the Rising Star Award from the Cowtown Society of Western Music. He is the 2014 and 2015 Academy of Western Artists Western Swing Male Vocalist of the Year. He and his band were named Western Swing Duo/Group for 2015. Also, he was honored to be a top five finalist for Male Vocalist of the Year for the 2015 Ameripolitan Awards.
